Team Epping Ready to Rock at 2018 Canadian Beef Masters on Sportsnet
[TORONTO]— The 2nd Grand Slam of Curling event of the season gets underway this morning and Team Epping hopes to be right in the thick of things come this weekend at the Canadian Beef Masters in Truro, NS.
After a fantastic opening month as a new squad, the team returned to play in some local events on the heels of a tough loss in the semi-finals in extra ends in the Grand Slam of Curling’s Elite 10.
“We were really happy with our start as a new team – getting that first win under our belt at the Shorty Jenkins and putting ourselves in the position to have a chance to be in the final game at the Elite 10,” said skip John Epping. “We worked on a few different things both as individuals and as a team in our most recent events but we feel like we are going in the right direction and ready for another great event.”
The event will be broadcast on Sportsnet’s live national television coverage this week and Team Epping is hoping to earn some strong TV time again to help showcase their partnerships with Bin There Dump That, VR Mechanical, OS&B, Shipton’s Heating & Cooling, Stu Sells and Balance Plus.
